From Vietnam To Korea

We heard today that Korea will adopt to us if the agency makes the recommendation that we are suitable to adopt to. We meet with Christie from the agency this week to go over more of the details. You must work with an agency within your state when adopting from Korea and AAC is the only one. She confirmed what the State Department's website stated.....Hague accreditation does not affect Korean adoptions. I have a great deal of research to do on the agency and the process. With our experience in Vietnam, we have learned that at any time things can take a turn for worse but for today we are celebrating. Steve is excited that we won't have to take a plane ride. Korea escorts the babies to the airport near you so we will only have to go to the Denver airport to pick up our daughter. I will keep everyone posted....the next few days are going to be very exciting.
