The boys and I went to see Thomas Live on Stage. We started with dinner at the old RR depot that is now a restaurant...no trains went by but we looked at the tracks and the inside still has the ticket windows. On Saturday, Steve and I went to the first of two core training classes which was held at our agency's office. It was the first time we had been there. At first, we were a little nervous as to where the class was going to be held. It was north of Denver which turns into farm country. If you took away the mountains, it looked alot like south Jersey. Actually, it looked just like Salem County out in Mannington. Anyway, once we got there it was fine. It was a basic office which is very reassuring. If it were this lavish office in an exclusive area of town, we would wonder where our money was really going.
It was awesome to meet other people in our same situation. We got to meet the family one ahead of us and the family one behind us, Brittany and Chad. I hope to get to know them much better since our girls will be so close in age. They don't live too far from us and also have sons. I can't wait to go next weekend and make it a point to follow up with some of the families so we can share the excitement when we all get to the front of the list.
