These two little girls have a special place in our hearts. We were still at the beginning of discussing if adoption was what we wanted to do. Then one day, while at our friends house, we watched these two little girls run across the street with their parents to come over to play. I leaned over to Steve and said, " I could love a little face like that." And he said, "Me too. Let's do it." Thanks, Maddie and Grace!!!
Thankfully, we didn't get the rain that they had predicted. The weather was perfect for playing outside on the swings and the water guns really made the boys happy.
She didn't really think opening presents was as exciting as we all did. She was more interested in playing with all the kids.
Her day ended with a short visit online with her foster parents who sang Happy Birthday to her.

To my lovebug: These are wonderful birthday pictures showing the universal language "blow out the candles" comes so natural to all children. Like you said, yesterday there were three moms thinking of her on her birthday, all in their own way. You are blessed to have this sweet child of God to raise. Love you. Mom
