We took a trip to California. We so looked forward to this trip every year and this year it felt like the first time seeing it through Aspen's eyes. We drove this year...not next year...it's a plane for sure. The kids loved the drive...not Mom and Dad!!!!!
She is amazing at balance and climbing. It took us weeks to stop gasping every time she tried something "new".
Aspen did really well with the driving and the whole trip in general. She didn't seem to mind not being in her usual bed. She got to meet new cousins and aunts/uncle and grandparents. We went to Sea World and her favorite was the Artic Exhibit with the whales. She also loved her churro (probably because it tasted like a waffle) and even shared it with Daddy. They are becoming closer everyday.

To my lovebug: These newest pictures are just great; seeing you and Aspen last week was even more wonderful. Aspen is such a beautiful child, and she has adjusted so well to her new life in America. The boys seem to enjoy being big brothers to Aspen; such a picture perfect family. Love you. Mom
