One year ago today, a little face entered our lives and our hearts opened to love this little person on the other side of the world. That day when I heard that they called because they had a little girl for us was the beginning of the final count down of a very long process. I remember so well the joy that we felt when we looked at those three little pictures and knew she was our daughter. Those three pictures became our only link to the daughter that we had waited so long for.
One year and now she's here. Today, we got more good news from our agency. We have our finalization court date of November 18th. Two months from tomorrow and she will be ours on paper....she's been ours for a year in our hearts.

Wow I can't believe it has already been a year! So glad Aspen is home with her forever family.
